I can't express with words how lucky I feel to be able to say that I am one of the kids who always told him how amazing his voice is. My favorite part of walking through the hallways in school is hearing this phenomenon. ❤ Richard, you are indeed a true hero.

The thing I love most is he didn’t try to tell some sob story even though he could’ve. His wife died of cancer not too long ago. But he didn’t use it to get votes, he let his voice do the work. This is what a golden buzzer is for.

Our recent series even had semifinalists from other countries comps which the judges seemingly didn’t know about thinking they were appearing for the first time. 🤦🏼‍♂️. I watch several Got Talent clips, mostly America and Britain though. One thing I do notice is on BGT the judges hit the golden buzzer in the moment of emotion, like after the song when everyone is cheering, and on AGT the judges hit the golden buzzer while giving their summary of the performance, thus taking part in the emotional moment instead of giving the emotional moment to the performer.

There is nothing I don't live about Richard!! He looks absolutely RIGHT on that stage. He belongs there. He is dressed casually, comfortably . He looks like a neighborhood guy loving the opportunity to sing for the pure joy of the music!! No pretentions at all. I don't think he could ever be a conceited, celebrity full of himself. That doesn't come through in his personality. His voice is magic!! I could listen to him for hours!! Concert tickets have gotten expensive that I usually won't pay the prices to go ,but Richard is one person I would pay double to see and hear in concert......and I am 74 yr old and crippled with Rheumatoid Arthritis and have trouble getting around to venues , standing in line, etc but for Richard I would get someone to help me every step to see him!!!!!

My Dad was the Custodian at a middle high school for 2 decades back in the 70s/80s. When he had a heart attack, several kids went to the hospital and said they were his kids in order to see him. They made a card that was 3 ft tall by 2 ft wide, and most of the school signed it with well wishes. I had the best Dad ever and I was so proud of him. He got better and went on to live another 30 years before passing. The kids at his school had a huge welcome back party for him, and they even all cleaned up afterwards. He was very popular in our city as he also did tons of charity work. I never felt shame of his job. Besides, here in Canada, he was making good money at that time since he was in a Union. 😊

I'd consider this to be one of the best audition have seen so far... His voice, and song choice was really moving. This is a special audition!

He reminds me of Susan Boyle where she got her star and big break on her nearly senior years!!! Richard is such a charm! His innocence and talent is heartwarming ❤️

Does anyone actually LOOK at the video. The sound is great, it does not match the video. If this guy can sing he has been cheated.

He KNEW if he hit that first line, the rest would just come. And he NAILED IT! He had to fight some nerves when he realized "holy sh!t I'm actually doing this" but he NAILED THAT TOO! The man knows how to perform!

I'm a 44 year old warehouse manager in tears right now. That man just gave a performance for every single person that their fears stopped them from going after whatever "it" was. That was absolutely beautiful.

Truth. There’s a little Richard in all of us but sometimes the cards just don’t ever line up, so seeing it happen for someone doesn’t make you feel jealous it makes you feel wonderful, coz it feels like he’s there repping all of us, and it’s so rare. 🤧
