They had a rocky start, but they pulled it together. By the end they sounded like a completely different group. I don’t know if they let nerves get the better of them, or if there was technical issues behind the scenes, I’m just glad they were able to recover.

It was the mics!!! The sound guy completely messed up their performance. Brooklyns mic was too low when she belting & there were just sound issues for the entire first half. Stinks would have loved to hear them perform once more!

I think what they do is very hard, that Choreography was a lot to combine with singing. I think they are going to go far (whether it's on AGT) or as concert performers for kids. Their target audience, which is the under 12 crowd (even though I, as an adult find the tunes catchy lol) will love them.

coming from someone who’s both a k-pop stan and a sing/rap/dance performer, i feel like everyone who’s hating just doesn’t know how hard this is. it’s virtually impossible to be right on those notes 100% especially since your lungs are working overtime, but everyone was a good amount of stable for the most part. even the best k-pop idols have a soft vocal track in case they need to catch their breath; it’s a disservice to the girls who had one during their audition, but for some reason the producers decided to pass up on it for their semi performance, especially when their choreography has acro/big movements that can wind athletes. for their age and experience level, they did amazing :)) it’s not their time yet, since their music is still a niche and they’re still a kids group, but if they keep this up, they’ll rise with the other girl groups when they’re older!!

definitely. I feel like there was a track at the back but it was so soft, actually. If anything, NO ONE would be able to pull all these acro tricks/dancing/running WHILE singing live 100%

@@fiveh3340 Agree, it's not the kids' fault. That's on the choreographer. He/she tried to showcase ALL their abilities in one performance which was a mistake. It was too much for kids still training to do well.

Brooklyn's mic was really quiet through the whole performance! But it seemed like there was some balancing problems between mics and music, and also some breathy-ness (as expected due to dancing and singing obviously.) Honestly hope they get a chance to come back, but they were amazing and will go far either way!

Oh jeez, these poor kids. They’re so talented, if you check their channel they recently had a performance where their music cut out entirely and they nailed it. They are 100% capable of performing without backup music, tonight just wasn’t it. Some of it was the mics, some of it was that they were trying to do too much in one performance (this was a massive step up from any of their other numbers, all of which they were nailing), and some of it was just bad luck. Every performer has a few bad nights and it’s heartbreaking that their bad night was on live television. (To be clear: they still did better than I ever could, to say nothing of everyone making fun of them in the comments. Please get a hobby besides kicking preteens while they’re down.)

I am a Sound Engineer, as well as a musician, composer and performer. And the path of Music...is a long, long path. The decision to continue on it ... or get off at any curve. And to continue the normal life, before having penetrated in the sound, the composition and the interpretation. To criticize these girls...is to ignore that there is going to be a contest of singers and musicians, regulated by 4 judges. It is not a paid show, in a live stadium. Errors are allowed...and are evaluated with a "yes"...or a "No"...and that's it!

It is SO hard to Sing and perform at the same time so I couldn’t imagine having to do backflips and all kinds of tricks while belting to the top of your lungs all while in front of BIG NAME celebs like Simon cowell etc etc. That being said- no it wasn’t their best vocals but they can PERFORM their butts off! In due time they will be superstars! All in all this was still a VERY captivating performance and I couldn’t be more proud of these UBER TALENTED girls! 💕🫶🏽

@@I_WANT_MY_SLAW people care because the criticisms are directed to the wrong people. is it the girls'fault they didn't perform well? partly. but it's not their fault that their choreography was not helping and that critique should go to jojo who choreographs for them. people say they can't sing and dance at the same time which is untrue because they can but no human can do that when their choreography looked like what it did in this performance. It's a valid criticism but directed at the wrong people

@@fiveh3340 I think the choreography wasn't what messed them up. They have done even harder choreography on the show and on their youtube channel yet they always seem to pull it off. The sound guy is the one that messed them up and you can tell because this isn't the first time.

I think these girls are great and have a lot of energy BUT I believe that they've been privileged enough to work with JoJo Siwa, and have the opportunities she can give them. I love their act but I would choose any of the other acts to win, as there are people who actually need this as their make or break opportunity. If these girls don't win, they'll still have the exposure of the show AND JoJo to mentor and promote them.

What I love about Jojo is that she took what she learned from Abby and used it. Abby banked on Maddie always being the star, and therefore always put her in the middle. Jojo's choreography switches them up so you can focus on all of them instead of just one.

Dallas’s part really added to it in my opinion. I’m also so glad that Bella got more singing in this she deserves it. also Kinsey’s singing has improved so much from the show. I feel like the ant sound people messed up the background track noise and their mics. They are so good they don’t deserve to have their mics off. Maybe it was a mistake. I don’t know.

Amazing!!! Singing and dancing is HARD work!! I tried it when I was younger and I had to stop dancing because I was out of breath. Love the sparkles and the love they showed on the stage! Love you girls!!!!!

I think for only being 10, Dallas (lights camera action solo) really held her own and her vocals were one of the better ones for this performance I know she only had the one part but what she did was good! Same goes for Bella she has very much improved from where she was a year ago, Tinies rap was also great them 3 girls where the stand outs in this performance. The others weren’t as good as everyone knows they have been and can be whether it was mics, nerves, too much going on etc it just wasn’t their best vocals and they’re all really good it’s a shame there was some mic and tech issues making it harder to hear some parts and being a bit off. I’m not hating at all, I just thought it was only fair to give a shout-out to Bella, Dallas and Tinie who really stood out and don’t get the credit!!

Dallas definitely deserves more credit. Besides Brooklynn and Bella who had ad libs, hers was the only solo that wasn't really "chanting" singing. So technically speaking, in terms of singing (NOT chanting), she was one of the best in THIS performance. Just one part but wow she blew me away. She was the only one who put some kind of attitude in her part at the start (by the second half they all did good) but that's probably because the others' parts at the start were SO fast-paced

that rap part gave me spice girls vibes. the 90s group i grew up with as a kid. I never thought I would see that again in a girl group ever. One of the members Mel B (Scary Spice) rapped a lot on the first two albums. But the third album was a bit more serious and mature, and that reflected more mature rapping. but still this performance of this new girl group of Jojo's brought back good memories.

I couldn’t watch the whole performance, they’re very talented But I don’t think they’re there yet, maybe something for the Disney channel on tv but I certainly wouldn’t pay to see them on stage unless I had little kiddos, keep up the good work girls.

I think they're young and still learning. I know it's really hard to dance and sing at the same time, also the background music was too loud. They did their best and might go forwards because their platform is big, but there're other acts that did better

Now I absolutely love XOMG POP but this definitely wasn’t one of their best performances. I’ve seen better and hopefully they’ll make it to the next round but as of right now it’s not looking so good. But good job girls still rooting for you all the way

So you can definitely take your attitude somewhere else. If you wanna be mediocre then that’s fine but a damn kind heart won’t get them far in competition. They have to work harder they just have to. Let’s be real and honest the audience age group for this kind of entertainment and music aren’t even old enough to be awake to even watch this and vote for them. They will not be staying and I will be an absolute shock. Because I don’t know any adult of a child that would enjoy this that would be staying awake to vote for them.

I think everyone has got it in their heads that you have to be great to do something you love. You really don’t and encouraging that mindset is stopping people from following dreams and expressing themselves truly. By the way, I’m not saying these girls aren’t great. People keep commenting on the mics lol. These girls have such a small targeted audience and mainly got noticed bc of jojo. Yes there is raw talent here, but not enough to win or play in Vegas.

Small targeted audience? In 2020, there were about 25.1 million children in the United States, aged 12 to 17 years ... .that's not small. And add in the additional 24 million kids ages 6 to 11....

This was not their best which I feel sorry for them bc they're first audition was fantastic. I think they're so focused on the choreography that the vocals were a bit lost. Still a great kids group. I also think instead of having a bunch of little jojo's they should all be their own unique selves. Great kids!

There were definitely mic issues here, which stinks --- and that's on production. You can tell if you listen to Brooklynn. And I can't be the only person wondering if they'll ever get headset mics again... Those would work better with all the dancing.

I know they were saving rock the night for the finale but I think it would’ve secured them a spot in the finale. Or boogie shoes without Tatum. Also, if their mics were better they could’ve made it to the finale. They did so good tho 😁

Used all my ten votes for them! They were really good! Nobody is perfect and I think everyone is too harsh when things aren’t “perfect”! I’m sorry but nobody is perfect! They were good! They danced so well and were very much in sync with one another! The vocals are really good as well but the mics were off because they were in a different sound wave but they still kept going and didn’t let that bother them! They each shines! I can’t wait to see them move on to the next round!

This was a hard as hell song to peform it was a kpop level peformance this is why back tracks and being able to lip sync certain parts is very important for peformances like this because it makes mistakes a lot more easily noticeable cause singing while doing this intense type of choreography isn’t going to sound good a lot of the time (the mics didn’t help at all either) but they have a lot of talent for being this young they will do just fine and are heading in the right direction. Just this performance in experience was shown and they’re still rookies lol very good ones though. Though their stage presence is amazing though they are extremely good at make things look effortless and still bursting with cute bubbly energy even if they’re making mistakes. They should’ve did the rock the night they are more experienced with that song and they’ve performed that song effortlessly when their music went out and all they had was their voices

It's their first time performing this and they did great! There are so many good moments. (I loved Tiny's rap part, Brooklyn and Dallas nailed it and I'm so happy to see Bella singing a solo).

very true. they had a rocky start, but Dallas' part was one of the strongest parts in the song tbh. I replay it a lot because despite having only one solo part, she put all her sass and attitude into it. It helped slow the performance down, show off her vocals, and after that the girls just got better and better

@WipeoutandRenafan14 i am literally a dancer but they are being marketed as a singing group. it doesn't help when they have soooo much choreography that you can literally hear them out of breath. this was their chance to show everyone that they can sing because so many people see them as a dancing group and not a singing one, their rehearsal videos were much better tho

I honestly think the reason their performance wasn’t good was beyond their control. They are clearly capable of doing better but I feel like they were sabotaged with the mics and in ears because they can’t be heard well for some reason.

Saying that they sang a bit off key for a number of moments is not "hate". it's being honest. They're cute, they're energetic, they have great potential, but something wasn't very enjoyable about this performance. It's like Lindsey Stirling years ago, she had a poor performance and it was what it was. However, she overcame it and took the criticism and the rest is history. These girls can do the same. That's not "hate", that's honest opinion.

I personally don't like those types of groups and acts. But even I have to admit it takes very special skill to do you what they did. Dancing and singing without making a mistake, only a few lost breaths at times, is very impressive and has to be taken into consideration. I'm not a fan, but those kids still have my respect for that.

Omg this video gave me some creepy chills. The performance seems to be om point with amazing choreography and the whole repeat the same sentence 50 times to make a million formula works well for so many artists but uhm I just can't help but get the feelings these kids are being worked harder than most adults and probably need to be freed and allowed a child hood. I can't imagine how degraded that get put down in the background off camera

I have heard them a lot bc my little sister keeps showing them to me, but they’re actually good at singing. There was deff something wrong with the mics or agt did them dirty. And for the adults who don’t like them, its not all about you. Ｍy sis loves them and I know many other kids do too.

I agree she did kill her part! Her part is one of my faves in this performance to be honest. She conveyed so much attitude in her only solo. She could've done the "the greatest fashion!" Kinley did because Kin just finished mini rapping, but to be fair, Kinley KILLED that part. Maybe Dallas isn't quite ready for bigger parts in performances with so much choreo? Either way, she deserves more! She has proven herself AGAIN that she's reliable when it counts

It's really sad, the things they ATTEMPT to pass off as "entertainment" these days. This is great for a middle school talent contest, but that's about it. There's nothing wrong with encouraging them to continue doing what they love and practicing in order to get better. But placing this group on this stage was the wrong move, they're nowhere near ready for this.

I think they have so much potential but I think the choreography is too much for them. Even for experienced performers it be kinda difficult. They should save the flips for instrumental breaks or something. I really hope these girls improve because they have a lot of potential. I love girl groups and I can see them succeeding.

Come ON AGT - get different sound crew ASAP or something! because SOMEONE keeps dropping the ball with microphone volume! The mic sound went up and way down and mostly was too damn low during this group's performance. People are working SO hard to do a perfect performance, only to have SOMEONE not doing THEIR job with the sound. That is HORRIBLE AND INEXCUSABLE. Shame on you. You are so taking away from their precious few moments and that is not fair to them, at all. ~Now, on to the group = FANTASTIC JOB GIRLS! You nailed it! Fun show - fun costumes, fab dancing, fab singing, awesome choreography! BRAVO!!!

Sad the audience didn't put them through. It's really hard to sing on key every note and get all that choreography. Most people don't know that. I didn't agree with the two picked tonight. Maybe a reason I don't watch shows that the audience picks. I only watch when I know someone is on I want to win. These kids were amazing.
