She is so talented. She went to North Greenville University with my brother and me. She and my brother Josh were music majors and had their senior showcase together. From the moment she started singing it was like...full-body goosebumps. Halfway through I had tears in my eyes. She has such a gorgeous, velvety voice, really fantastic vocal technique and control without unnecessary acrobatics. Seems like a very sweet and down-to-earth person too. I hope she goes far.

The real problem is people trying to emulate a talent they don't have. Everyone has some seed in them but when the avocado kernel wants to become a mango tree or worse, a lion, that's when it all becomes ridiculous. 😂

This woman’s voice is ethereal. Wow! Felt like I remembered the first time my bare feet touched the earth! Felt like I was realizing I had past lives and was becoming one with my soul. Felt like agape! It takes someone 20 years to finally take the stage because we live in a picture perfect world where your looks are more important than talent. She was so insecure about herself it hold her back. I think its not normal that we live in such a world. Huge respect for her by stepping up ❤

yes. you'd expect her to come out with something powerful, to try to impress. but she didn't choose to do that. that's 'classy', you're right. i wish her a long journey here in this competition. i think she'll give us more of her range next time. can't wait..

You know this woman grew up around music and singing in Church - in Gospel Music they call this level of vocal skills “anointed”, and she certainly is. That was so deep and warm and controlled, and pitch perfect, and emotive. As others have said, it’s pathetic that we live in a world where “the star-maker machinery” chooses some 13 year old because they are “marketable” over someone like this woman, who is SO extremely talented. I hope this is the start of a fabulous career for her. I bet her Students just adore her - I’m sure she is an AMAZING Teacher.

Her control is astounding. I've never heard anything like this performance--vocal acrobats. I can usually sing along comfortably with other singers. Singing along with her is like climbing K2. I'm not sure I could ever have the control that she does no matter how hard I tried, or for how long.
